The Library of the Higher School of Agriculture

The Library of the Higher School of Agriculture was founded in 2014, alongside the opening of the Preparatory School. It stands as a cornerstone of academic life and research excellence.

Its foundation was marked by the generous donation of the first collection of books from the Central Library of  Abdelhamid Ben Badis University.

The library contains a rich and diverse collection of documents in Arabic, English, and French, including dictionaries and encyclopaedias. It also maintains a digital repository of university Master and Doctoral theses in all disciplines. These resources are made available to foster scientific research and to support researchers in their academic advancement and

success.

To ensure efficiency and accessibility, the library adopts the Dewey Decimal Classification

System, which allows for the precise organisation and systematic arrangement of its

resources. Through the FINDER system, students and researchers are able to explore the

library’s databases and access a wide range of information sources. This digital tool enables

them to explore information resources easily and effectively in support of their studies and
